Imran, Sheikh Rasheed working against the elected govt: Ahsan Iqbal

F.P. Report

NAROWAL: Federal Interior Minister, Ahsan Iqbal has said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan and Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rasheed are trying to derail the democracy in the country with their anti democratic endeavors.

This he said while speaking to media persons. He said that Imran is only shouting against corruption just because of political drama and if he has care of corruption then he would take concrete steps to end corruption in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Those who had left PML-N are returning back as they recognized the real face of PTI, he added.

Regarding the PTI government in KP, he said that people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are fed up of the PTI led-provincial government and now are looking towards the PML-N and in next general election PML-N will also form government in the KP province.

Iqbal also criticized former president, Asif Ali Zardari that it is very surprising that Zardari is speaking about corruption and in reality he has done nothing when PPP was in power.
