India might stage a false flag operation to complicate situation: FO

ISLAMABAD: India might stage another false flag operation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) to further complicate the situation in the valley. It was shared by the Spokesperson Pakistan Foreign Office, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmed in response to a media query during weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday.
Spokesperson was of the view that Indian leadership is leveling baseless accusations against Pakistan for making ground for launching an anti-Pakistan operation while there is a genuine possibility of staging a false flag operation by the Indian military to complicate the situation. According to Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, Pakistan will continuously caution its friends and international community about India nefarious designs.
While answering another question regarding possibility of improvement in Pakistan India bilateral relations during 2022, Spokesperson said that Pakistan always remains committed for peaceful and cooperative relations with all its neighbours including India, however the onus is on India to create enabling environment for bilateral dialogue with Pakistan. Asim Iftikhar noted there is no visible change in hostile attitude and negative behavior of Indian leaders so far.
While commenting on the situation in IIOJK, he said that the Indian occupation forces are continuing their regrettable mission of killing unarmed innocent Kashmiris and assassinated 15 another Kashmiri youths in fake encounters and so-called cordon and search operations in the valley.
Whereas, Indian forces martyred 210 innocent Kashmiri youths during previous year 2021, added Asim Iftikhar Ahmed.
Spokesperson informed the media that Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled for an official visit to China from 3-5 February to attend inaugural ceremony of Beijing winter Olympic -2022, at the invitation of Chinese leadership.
According to Spokesperson, Prime Minister Imran Khan will also meet Chinese leadership during the visit to exchange views on regional and global issues and strengthen bilateral relations with Peoples Republic of China (PRC).
Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmed said that Pakistan looks forward to the successful winter Olympic in Beijing in next month. While answering anther question regarding presentation of global development initiative by the Chinese President Xi Jinping, Asim Iftikhar said that Pakistan welcomes global development initiative presented by the Chines President Xi Jinping as UN development Plan-2030 for sustainable development in the world.
According to him, this initiative will help promote global cooperation required to mitigate the ripple impacts of COVID-19 pandemic, related economic crisis and climate change.
While commenting on situation in Afghanistan, he said that Pakistan will continuousing urging the global community to stay engage with the Authorities in Afghanistan so the impact of economic and humanitarian crisis in the country can be mitigated effectively.
