India pursuing state-sponsored terrorism as an official policy against Pakistan: DG ISPR

F.P. Report

RAWALPINDI: Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said India is pursuing state-sponsored terrorism as an official policy against Pakistan.

In an interview with Al Jazeera TV, he described India’s actions as a calculated attempt to destabilize Pakistan, particularly targeting the province of Balochistan.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry explained that the term “Khawarij” is now commonly used within Pakistan’s military and media circles to refer to armed groups that attack the state and its institutions. He further clarified that, according to Islamic principles, only the state holds the authority to declare jihad or armed conflict and no individual, group, or organization has that right. He asserted that Fitna al-Khawarij has nothing to do with Islam, humanity, Pakistan, or its cultural traditions.

DG ISPR said that the term “Fitna al-Hindustan” refers to terrorists supported by India, particularly those active in Balochistan. He said India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is the mastermind behind this terror enterprise. He also noted that India’s political leadership has publicly acknowledged its support for terrorist activities in Pakistan.

The Director General ISPR further said several countries, including the United States and Canada, have recognized India’s involvement in transnational terrorism.

Regarding Israeli aggression against Iran, Lieutenant General Chaudhry reaffirmed Pakistan’s political and diplomatic support for Iran.

Talking about Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities, he said Pakistan’s nuclear program is fully secure and that no country would dare attempt to target it.
