Indian forces martyr three more Kashmiri youth in Shopian

SRINAGAR: As many as three more Kashmiri youth were martyred by the Indian occupied forces in Shopian district of occupied Kashmir, on thursday.

According to reports, the Kashmiri youth were martyred during cordon and search operation in Yarwan area of Shopian district of the occupied Kashmir.  

Police official told local media that the soldiers of 23 PARA cordoned off Yarwan, Keller, a forest area on the tail end of the district and started a search operation at around 2:30am. An Indian official claimed to have killed three militants in Shopian district on Thursday. The operation was going on till filing of the report.

Meanwhile, Indian forces belonging to 30 Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group launched a violent cordon and search operation at Yaroo in Langate area of Kupwara district.

On the other hand, Indian troops during a cordon and search operation set ablaze a residential house in Tangbal- Kujar area of Kulgam district. Locals of the area talking to media men said that the flames emerged out of the house within minutes after the troops fired tear smoke shells inside it. The troops who carried the operation belonged to the Rashtriya Rifles and Central Reserve Police Force.

Meanwhile, one Special Operation Group personnel was injured in an attack at Baghat area of Srinagar city.
