Indonesian envoy meets Qargha-based Kuchi families

KABUL: A top Indonesian diplomat has visited displaced Kuchi families in the Qargha area of Kabul and provided them food packages. Ambassador Arief Rachman and Madam Sri Winnih Sejati met the Kuchis living near the Qargha dam and reservoir.

Rachman met the Kuchi elder and children and gave them staple food packages. He also joined then in prayers for peace in Afghanistan.

The ambassador promised Indonesia would try its best to help Afghanistan achieve peace and end the suffering that the Afghans have experienced for more than 40 years.
