Industrial amnesty package to help expedite ndustrialisation process

LAHORE: Chairman UK-Pakistan Business Council Mian Kashif Ashfaq Thursday hailing Industrial amnesty package announced by the Prime Minister Imran Khan said it would prove instrumental to expedite the pace of industrialisation besides attracting the investors for setting up industry with a cushion of only 5 percent tax giving free hand without inquiring its sources.
Taking to a delegation of traders from Faisalabad led by Chaudhry Asim Nazir, Member National Assembly, Mian Kashif said it’s good opportunity for big giants to invest in industry of their choice by taking full advantage of this package and contribute towards development of the country.
He said now investors and businesses community can whiten their black money by injecting in new industries and Prime Minister held categorical assurance that they will not be questioned at all about their sources.
He said Prime Minister had focussed on export oriented industries and this package is directed towards new industry.
He urged the entrepreneurs to avail benefits and incentives by investing in industrial undertakings out of their undisclosed assets for creating jobs and revival of sick industries.
Mian Kashif Ashfaq said it’s equally good chance for oversees Pakistani for investment as well because they would be entitled to 100 percent tax credit for next five years.
He said government despite odd circumstances and inherited financial crunch, is making all its best efforts to attract foreign and local investors by offering incentives in special economic zones across the country.
Asim Nazir MNA hoped that sincere efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan enjoying the highest degree of integrity bringing revolution in the country will bear fruits as positive economic indicators are encouraging compared to previous PML N and PPP regimes.
He said PM had directed all ministries and FBR to facilitate the all foreign and local investors under one window and he praised the meritorious services of Mian Kashif Ashfaq for being a bridge between business community and government for help addressing their problems being confronted by them.
