Injustice, corruption removed from higher education sector: Nadim

KABUL (TOLOnews): The acting minister of higher education, Neda Mohammad Nadim, on Sunday said that injustice and corruption have been uprooted from the education and higher education sectors in the country.
Addressing a gathering to mark the start of the new school year, Nadim vowed to address “all challenges” facing the higher education sector in Afghanistan.
“The Islamic Emirate has ensured justice in the higher education and education sectors,” Nadim said. “Today, students are being enrolled and graduated from educational institutions based on their ability. No pressure, power and nothing works here.”
Meanwhile, Afghanistan Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority said that the education curriculum of the institution meets international norms. “We were able to rise the graph of the curriculum based on international norms,” said Ghulam Haidar Shahamat, head of the Afghanistan Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority.
Based on information from Afghanistan Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority, Afghanistan has 370 technical institutes that have enrolled over 50,000 students.
