ISLAMABAD: The disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that institutions needs to operate within their limits in the better interest of the masses.
Nawaz Sharif said this during a meeting at the Punjab House where he held a meeting with party leaders and Chief of Pakhtuhkhwa Milli Awami Party Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
The PML-N Quaid said that he may not have been an ideological person before but now he is 100 per cent ideological and adding that after 70 years we still are struggling for the sanctity of vote in Pakistan
Earlier, he said to media outside the accountability court where he appeared for the hearing, that he is looking at things like the recent interview of chief justice of Pakistan to a news anchor and a newspaper article detailing the army chief’s ‘doctrine’.
Nawaz added that people should understand the difference between people like Musharraf and politicians. He hid in a hospital on the pretext of illness.
Moreover, Nawaz claimed that Musharraf established the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) with a specific aim, adding that he fears just as in 2002 elections, NAB is now being used against him.
