Internet service suspended in several cities for third day in row

ISLAMABAD: The internet service in several cities of the country is suspended for the third day in a row, on Thursday.

It is learnt that the telecom companies and the government revenues are facing huge financial losses due to the internet shutdown.

According to sources within the telecom industry, the telecom companies have suffered a loss of Rs1.6 billion in revenue in two days.

Similarly, the government revenues have suffered a loss of Rs570 million in the telecom sector.
