KARACHI: Pakistan continued to witness slow internet on second day as internet subscribers reportedly faced difficulties after the 13,000km-long IMV cable was affected by a technical fault near Jeddah on Saturday.
Authorities were still unable to fix technical and in Pakistan only two out of six internet cables were presently operative and the remaining affected were not available for internet users as the technical fault still exists.
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) spokesperson told media that an international consortium is trying to fix existing technical and provide smooth surfing for internet users.
“An international consortium is trying to determine the technical fault and time required to fix it,” a Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, General Manager PTCL Imran Janjua, said that they were trying to shift the internet to the others cable to provide internet access to users.
