Involving PM in NAB chairman issue ‘low-minded act’, says Awan

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan Monday said that involving the premier in the issue of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman was a “low-minded act and political dishonesty”.

In a reaction to the speech of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Khawaja Asif in the National Assembly, Awan said it was a matter of happiness that Asif now remembered respect of an institution.

Those who were using sleazy language against mothers and sisters were teaching to ignore weaknesses of others, she added.

The PM’s aide said the ones who wanted to exclude the prime minister, were themselves getting minus from the political system.

She said the individuals, who ran the whole government through un-elected people, were reminding about elected representatives.

During their tenure, Awan said, the elected representatives asked un-elected people to arrange their meeting with the prime minister.
