Irani Consul General calls on KP Governor

PESHAWAR: Acting Iranian Consul General here Monday called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Haji Ghulam Ali at Governor House where he expressed his deep condolences as well as on behalf of people of Iran over the police lines’ mosque blast.

He said the function about the anniversary of Iranian Revolution was also cancelled due to police line tragic blast because people of both countries were standing with each other on occasions of joys and sorrow.

The governor KP while thanking the Iranian consul general and people of Iran said that Iran was our brotherly neighbour country and people of both the countries have enormous love and affection for each other.

The Governor said he had visited Iran on several occasions on the invitation of the brotherly country and was impressed with its overall devolopment especially of modern technology.

The Governor proposed exchange of trade delegations and Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran exhibition that was welcomed by the Irani consul general. (APP)
