KABUL (Agencies): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
“Based on the memorandum of understanding, the International Rescue Committee will allocate 755,171 US dollars for the establishment of social committees, surveys of needy, cash assistance, and the implementation of public projects,” the Ministry said in a statement.
The assistance will cover about 2500 needy families in the provinces of Herat, Laghman, Khost, and Nangarhar, according to the Ministry.
The memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Ministry’s top officials and the International Rescue Committee.
