KARACHI: Chief of Jamaati-e-Islami (JI), Senator Sirajul Haq has said that some politicians are making irresponsible statements about upcoming polls by saying that the polls will be overseeing aliens which are clearly making the polls controversial.
JI chief said this while talking to media on Sunday at Karachi. He said that earlier former premier Nawaz Sharif spoke about the aliens will be supervise election and later PTI chief Imran Khan said that some army officers manipulated the 2013 elections by interfering and giving political benefits to PML-N.
Siraj added that such kind of statements will affect the upcoming polls and its result.
Regarding the potential allies of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal, he said that they will decide after the elections.
He also demanded from the Election Commission of Pakistan should safeguard the rights of voters. Senator claimed that previously the political agent (in tribal areas) acted like kings but now they are accountable for their duties and unjust.
The JI will hold the party’s youth convention at Bagh-e-Jinnah later today.
