Ishaq Dar thanks United Kingdom for flood relief support

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has expressed his gratitude for the United Kingdom solidarity and its readiness to support relief and recovery efforts in face of recent floods in Pakistan.

He expressed these views during a telephone conversation with British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs David Lammy today.

The British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs expressed his condolences over the tragic loss of lives caused by the recent flash floods in Pakistan.

He conveyed the United Kingdom’s solidarity with Pakistan during this difficult time.

David Lammy also wished the Deputy Prime Minister a productive visit to London.

On the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister said he looks forward to continued engagement with the UK leadership.
