Islamic Emirate meeting covers recent political and security developments

KABUL (TOLONews): The meeting of the Political Commission of the Islamic Emirate was held under the chairmanship of Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs.

Hamidullah Fitrat, the Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, stated that in this meeting, discussions were held on the latest developments in the country and the region, as well as on political and security progress.

According to Fitrat, the members of the Political Commission also discussed addressing the challenges faced by Afghans living abroad and preparing the necessary arrangements for Afghan refugees.

The Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate said: “Discussions were held on the recent developments in the country and the region, political and security issues, and progress made. In this meeting, solutions for the challenges of Afghan refugees abroad, preparations for Afghan migrants, and other issues were also discussed.”

A number of political analysts consider the meetings of the Political Commission of the caretaker government important for political progress and other areas.

Gul Mohammaddin Mohammadi, a political analyst, said: “They must engage with foreign countries to expedite the process of interaction and recognition and also reach out to some opponents abroad to invite them to Afghanistan.”

Idris Mohammadi Zazi, another political analyst, stated: “The Political Commission should analyze every decree and order that is shared with the people of Afghanistan and the international community to understand its impact domestically and abroad.”

Meanwhile, in the previous meeting of the Political Commission of the Islamic Emirate, there was a discussion about expanding relations with several countries and implementing regional projects. It was emphasized that the caretaker government of Afghanistan seeks good relations with all neighboring countries, based on the principles of mutual respect and good neighborliness.
