RAWALPINDI: Three terrorists were gunned down in two different intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Dera Ismail Khan and South Waziristan.
According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing ISPR on Tuesday, security personnel neutralized two terrorists during an IBO in Kulachi area of DI Khan.
Another terrorist was shot dead by security forces personnel in South Waziristan District.
Large quantity of weapons and explosives were also recovered during these operations.
These slain terrorists were wanted in connection with attacks on security forces and innocent civilians.
Meanwhile, a soldier was martyred in a landmine explosion in Gharyum area of North Balochistan District.
According to ISPR, Sepou Shazeb was a resident of District Rawalpindi.
