JERUSALEM (AFP): The Israeli military on Tuesday announced tighter restrictions on public gatherings across the country including in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, limiting the number of people that can gather outside ahead of the Jewish new year.
“In accordance with the assessment of the situation by the Home Front Command, it was decided to change the guidelines for the public,” Israel’s home command announced in a statement, adding that gatherings would be held with “a limit of up to 30 people in an open area and up to 300 people in a structure.”
