Israeli FM threatens to assassinate Hezbollah chief

Monitoring Desk

JERUSALEM: Israel’s foreign minister on Monday threatened to assassinate Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.

“Nasrallah has not stopped attacking (Israeli Prime Minister) Netanyahu or threatening Israel,” Israel Katz wrote on his Twitter account.

“As his distress grows, his eloquence increases. In the meantime, he is forced to go down another floor into the bunker in the face of warnings from his Iranian patrons about the possibility of his assassination,” he said.

“If he (Nasrallah) challenges Israel – that won’t help him either,” Katz said, referring that Nasrallah’s hide shelter won’t save him.

Israel claims that Nasrallah lives in a bunker for years for fear of being assassinated. (AA)
