PESHAWAR: Parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will observe Ist Ramazan today (Monday) after the announcement made by local Reut-e-Hilal Committee whose meeting was held at Qasim Ali Khan mosque chaired by Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzi.
According to details around 16 testimonies regarding sighting of the moon were received and after the confirmation Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzi announced the advent of Ramazan in KP. Soon after the announcement, local mosques also announced start of Ramazan from Monday and Taraweeh prayers were also held
