MUMBAI: Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most promising stars in the new lot of actors. Daughter to late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi made her Bollywood debut in Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak and impressed one and all with her stellar performance.
In the film she was seen opposite Ishaan Khatter. Next, Janhvi will be seen in Dharma Productions’ untitled project as Gunjan Saxena, one of India’s first female combat aviators to be posted in 1999 Kargil war. She is the first woman who was awarded the Shaurya Vir by the Indian Army.
According to latest reports, Janhvi will soon start prepping for her role in the film. Confirming the same, source close to the actress informed Mumbai Mirror, “Janhvi will start prep in the next few days with basic flying lessons and sessions on how the Indian Air Force works and lives. She spent time with Gunjan a few months ago and will be meeting her again to understand her story better”.
The biopic is expected to go on floors early next year. Other than this, Janhvi will also be seen in Takht featuring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.
