HAFIZABAD: Three-day Jashan-i-Baharan concluded here in the Municipal Stadium. Hundreds of youth men, women and children thronged the festival and appreciated the administration for arranging the festival to relieve them from present day rough and tumble of life.
The festival was arranged by the District and Tehsil Administration with the collaboration of Divisional Arts Council and NGOs to promote cultural values alive as well as to provide entertainment to the masses. Different stalls including handicrafts, floral exhibition, food street etc. were arranged. Cricket, football, volleyball, badminton matches and tug of war contest were also organized. Prominent singers enthralled the audience. A sufi night and Heer Kahwani was also held which amused the masses.
