Javed Latif: Anti-Pakistan conspirators should be hanged

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Mian Javed Latif has called for “hanging” those who are involved in hatching conspiracies against Pakistan.

Javed Latif claimed that he had exposed a conspiracy that took place in 2017, and now action is needed to protect the country.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Monday, Javed Latif said the facilitators (of the conspiracy) have been let loose. “The current crises stem from the actions of the 2017 conspirators,” he added.

Any leniency to the facilitators of Imran Khan will harm the country further, he said, adding silence of the part of institutions is meaning.

The elements who had been exposed are not distributing election tickets, he claimed and said cases were registered against Imran Khan due to his own wrongdoings.

Javed Latif questioned whether anyone other than the parliament can amend the constitution? The PMLN leader emphasized that rewriting the constitution will not make any difference unless trust is restored.

Javed Latif said that action should be taken against the conspiratorial characters in order to restore public confidence in the constitution and law. He urged the parliamentary committee to call Justice (retd) Saqib Nisar’s son in connection with his audio leaks and stated that people sitting in the institutions should abide by the constitution and the law.

Javed Latif expressed his disappointment with the PTI and remarked that holding negotiations with them was not useful. He called upon the Supreme Court to quickly give a decision to save the country from a major tragedy, warning that if silence continued, chaos will increase in the country.

Javed Latif stressed that those “architects” of the conspiracy should be hanged to restore public confidence.
