ISLAMABAD: Central Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), Senator Siraj-ul-Haq announced nationwide protests against US for recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
This he said while talking to media persons on Thursday. he added that the recent decision of America clearly shows the mentaility of US president Donald Trump towards Muslims and by recognizing the Jerusalem as capital of Israel putting the world peace and security on risk.
He said that the JI will take to the streets on Dec 8.
Earlier, the US president announced that the American embassy will be shifted from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in order to ‘resolve’ the decades-long dispute between Palestine and Israel.
