JI district leader gun down in Bannu

BANNU: Local leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) was shot dead in Ghurewala police station of Bannu on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Malik Tufail and he was targeted by unknown attackers riding motorbikes, and they managed to escape from the scene after committing the crime.

Police reached the spot and started search operations in the area in order to arrest the culprits. A case has also been filed at Ghorewala police station against unknown suspects.
