JI Shura rejects resignation of Sirajul Haq

LAHORE: The Central Majlis-e-Shura of Jamaat-e-Islami has rejected the resignation of JI Ameer Sirajul Haq after party’s poor showing in recently-held general elections, on Saturday.

The JI Majlis-e-Shura expressed full confidence in the leadership of Sirajul Haq.

After rejection of resignation, Sirajul Haq chaired a meeting of the Jamaat on Saturday.
