JI to protest alone against govt after Eid

TIMERGARA: Jamaat-i-Islami Lower Dir emir and former MPA Izazul Mulk Afkari has said the inefficient and inexperienced government had lost public confidence due to its flawed policies. Addressing an iftar dinner arranged by the JI Lower Dir in the honour of local journalists here the other day, he said the PTI government had failed on all fronts.

The JI district general secretary ArshadZaman, secretary information Muhammad shuaib, Timergara press club president NawabBadshah and others also spoke on the occasion. Afkari said the JI was not a seasonal party but was a movement for the enforcement of sharia law in the country through peaceful means. Talking about development of the area he said that JI lawmakers had completed records development projects in Dir.

The former JI lawmaker said the JI would mobilize public against the government for its failure to control price hike, unemployment and uncertainty after this Eid. He said the incumbent government had totally ignored the district in its development projects. He said that Dir had not been included in tourism development despite the fact it had great potential in the sector. Responding to a question he said the JI would make no alliance with other political parties as all the three PML-N, PPP and PTI were equal responsible for destroying the country.
