JI wants accountability of corrupt elements: Siraj

F.P. Report

TIMERGARA: Jamaat-i-Islami chief Siraj ul Haq inaugurated a bridge to be constructed with Rs 100 million at Tangai Sha in his hometown here on Tuesday. A function in this regard was held which was attended also by MPA Izaz ul Mulk Afkari, JI district emir Maulana Asadullah, tehsil nazim Saeed Ahmad Bacha, party workers and area elders.

Addressing the gathering the JI chief said his party wanted indiscriminate accountability of all politicians involved in corruption cases. He said that political parties in the country were promoting status quo while the JI had a solid program for changing this culture.

The JI chief condemned the government for not punishing American spy Raymond Davis and US defense attaché Colonel Joseph although they killed innocent Pakistanis. “All other political parties had no plan to bring changes into the old system and they had been sticking to the old status quo wherein there was no place for the poor”, Siraj said. We will fight for the rights of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and will get net hydro profit,” he said, adding the central government had promised to end load shedding by 2018 but badly failed to fulfill its commitments. He said people of KP did not want mere a China Pakistan Economic Corridor road but they wanted a full economic zone to change their fate.
