JI wants Pakistan free from corruption, illiteracy

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the JI wanted Pakistan to be free from corruption and illiteracy and this could be achieved only through the enforcement of the Islamic system. He was addressing the participants of the JI central workshop at Mansoora.

Sirajul Haq said that a corrupt and exploitative system had prevailed in the country since independence.

The masses were denied the basic facilities of education and health and justice. Martial law and civil dictators had ruled the country for decades and destroyed all institutions.

The country was also facing numerous threats from abroad. All these problems could not be solved by military rule, western democratic system or liberal and secular system.

The JI chief said that political pundits considered politics as their house maid. They had established dynasties in politics and were now keen to thrust the third generation on the masses. However, Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq said, the coterie of the corrupt had been fully exposed. The masses had come to know their true nature and held them responsible for all ills in the society. Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq said that the common man could not get justice. A class based education was in vogue in the country.

Senator Sirajul Haq said, the JI was struggling for a corruption free and green Pakistan so that our coming generations could be safe and secure and prosper.
