Jirga in Bajaur appraises measures implemented to enhance overall law and order

Bajaur: In a significant jirga convened at the Civil Colony Jirga Hall Garden in the merged district of Bajaur, community elders and leaders actively engaged in discussions pertaining to the law and order situation within the district. Attended by a substantial number of local dignitaries, the Jirga focused on appraising measures implemented to enhance the overall peace in Bajaur.

During the deliberations, participants expressed contentment with the steps taken to improve the district’s security landscape. Emphasizing the collaborative responsibility of both public and state institutions, the Jirga underscored the necessity for joint efforts to perpetuate and enhance law and order.

Acknowledging the sacrifices of Pakistan Army and police martyrs, the Jirga resolved to prevent these sacrifices from being in vain and pledged to thwart elements that threaten peace.

The Jirga, in a united stance, committed to reinforcing local and national institutions, vowing to actively contribute to the preservation of peace. The proceedings culminated with a solemn pledge and prayer, affirming a commitment to sustained cooperation and mutual agreement at all levels to uphold peace and order.

Meanwhile, the caretaker provincial government lauded the proactive stance taken by Bajaur’s local elders and leaders, deeming it a commendable initiative. Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel, the Caretaker Minister of Information and Public Relations for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stressed the imperative role of public support and cooperation for enduring peace.

He highlighted the positive impact of such initiatives on the morale of the soldiers and affirmed that concrete steps have been taken to address matters of law and order in Bajaur and other merged districts.
