Josep Borrell to travel United Arab Emirates

BRUSSELS: The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell will travel to the United Arab Emirates on 5-6 November. He will hold bilateral meetings there and attend Sir Bani Yas Forum. 

The visit will offer an opportunity to further reinvigorate the EU-UAE bilateral relationship and to also exchange with policy and opinion makers on regional matters and global affairs.

During his visit, HR/VP Borrell will entertain several bilateral meetings. On Saturday, the High Representative will meet Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates and Anwar Gargash, Presidential Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates. In addition, HR/VP Borrell will hold several meetings with other high-level participants of the Forum.
