JUI-F chief illegally obtained 600kanal land in Musharraf tenure: PTI

ISLAMABAD: Shafqat Mehmood of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) accused Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman on Tuesday of illegally attaining as many as 600 kanals of land during tenure of former army chief Pervez Musharraf is power.

The PTI leader addressed a press conference in the federal capital during which he claimed that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had launched a probe into JUI-F chief’s illegal attainment of a piece of land as big as 600 kanals but the case was shut.

Mehmood also said that Makhdoom Zada Mureed Kazim had illegally attained 150 kanals of land and is fighting legal cases until today.

PTI chief criticised JUI-F chief by saying that the head of Kashmir committee did not raise issue of Kashmiris on any platform when Indian forces were brutally using pellet guns against innocent Muslims.

He asserted that Fazlur Rehman conducts politics for his gains only. JUI-F chief became head of Kashmir committee for the sake of perks and facilities and not to work for the cause, he added.
