JUI-S leader backs alliance with PTI

PESHAWAR: Religious leaders having association with Darul Uloom-e-Haqania, a seminary network, have strongly denounced the statement issued by leaders of a religious party against Maulana Samiul Haq, chief of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Sami (JUI-S).

Talking to media last day, Maulana Abdul Wahid, a senior provincial leader of JUI-S, came hard on some of JUI-F leaders who criticized Maulana Samiul Haq for getting into a deal to make alliance for upcoming general polls in 2018. He clearly said they would not tolerate and accept anti-Haqania statements. Some people are trying their best to topple Haqania network but those plans will be foiled by them at all fronts, he said and adding his party has the right to make or end alliance with any political or religious party.

He categorically said they were patronizing the chief of JUI-S Samiul Haq,s decision for expected electoral alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ahead of general elections. Maulana Wahid, lashed out at JUI-F leaders for castigating the JUI-S decision with regard to alliance with ruling party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and saying the possible alliance will prove to be landmark. About his party, he stated that their endeavors will remained continue for implementation of Islamic system in the country.
