Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim sworn in as PHC CJ

PESHAWAR: Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim took oath as the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court in an oath-taking ceremony of newly appointed Chief Justice PHC with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali administered the oath here at Governor House on Saturday.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur also participated in the swearing-in ceremony. In the ceremony, the Law Secretary read out the Presidential Proclamation on the appointment of Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim as the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court.

Governor Haji Ghulam Ali congratulated Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim on his new responsibilities, expressed good wishes. Supreme Court Judge Justice Musrat Hilali, Peshawar High Court Judges, lawyers, Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, IGP etc. participated in the swearing-in ceremony.
