Justice Qazi Isa not part of any Supreme Court bench for last six weeks

ISLAMABAD: Justice Qazi Faez Isa, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court after the chief justice, has not been part of any bench of the apex court for six consecutive weeks, on Thursday.

According to the judges’ roster released by the Supreme Court for the week starting from May 22, Justice Faez Isa will do the chamber work next week too. In the apex court, six benches will hear the cases on the principal seat next week.

Bench No. 1 will consist of Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial and Justice Athar Minallah.

Bench No. 2 will consist of Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar.

Bench No. 3 will consist of Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Shahid Waheed

Bench No. 4 will comprise Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi.

Bench No. 5 will include Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Jamal Mandokhail.

Bench No. 6 will include Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi.
