Justice Sardar Shamim Khan takes sworn in as LHC chief justice

LAHORE: Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan on Tuesday took oath as Chief Justice of Lahore High Court.

According to reports, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has administered the oath to the new chief justice at Governor House Lahore.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, members of the provincial cabinet and other dignitaries were also present at the oath-taking ceremony.

Justice Shamim is the 48th chief justice of the Lahore High Court.
