KABUL (Khaama Press): In an IED blast on Wednesday morning, at least one policeman was killed in the capital of Afghanistan.
According to the security officials, the explosion targeted a Ranger type vehicle belonging to the police. The incident happened a few minutes before 8:00 a.m. in the Tangi Tarakhail area of Kabul city, security sources told the media.
The IED explosion left one policeman dead and three others injured.
No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
This comes as First Vice President, Amrullah Saleh took the control of Kabul’s security and despite peace efforts, the situation overall has worsened.
