Kabul Police foils smugglers bid

KABUL: The Kabul Police forces have foiled smugglers’ bid to sale an ancient sculpture for 250,000 US Dollars, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said. A suspected smuggler was arrested in connection to the sale and smuggling of the sculpture.

The statement further added that the detained individual has been identified as Hasmatullah who was arrested from the 1st Police District of the city. The Ministry of Interior also added that Hashmatullah is in police custody and the ancient sculpture has been confiscated.(Khaama Press)
