Kapil Dev to train Ranveer Singh for upcoming ‘83’

MUMBAI: He had mega hits like Padmaavat and the Simmba in 2018 and the release of his much-awaited film Gully Boy just a month away but Ranveer Singh has already started prepping up for his next which is helmed by Kabir Khan. ’83 has been in the news ever since it was announced with a big press conference with the entire 1983 world cup winning team in attendance.
The energetic actor will be seen essaying the role of the captain, Kapil Dev in the movie. Having said that, Ranveer is putting in all to look like the charismatic cricketer in the film, and for that he is being trained by former Indian cricketer Balwinder Singh Sandhu.
The actor is undergoing some serious drills and sessions with the cricketer. Apparently, to do full justice to the role, it has been said that Ranveer Singh is also going to be trained Kapil Dev himself. Kapil will help Ranveer in replicating his mannerisms, bowling action and body language in the film.
