Karachi is the backbone of economic progress of Pakistan: PM Abbasi
KARACHI: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Friday that Karachi is a back bone in the development of the country.
This he said on Friday while addressing at the inaugural ceremony of National Incubation Centre at the NED University.
The PM said that the federal government trying his level best for the betterment of Karachi city as it plays a vital role in the country economic progress.
He added that Karachi peace is interlink with the rest of the country, adding that the federal government efforts Karachi has been now secure and safe city.
PM Abbasi said the continuity of democratic system was necessary for the national progress, adding that the federal government was finding it difficult to make decisions in the current political climate.
He further added with a lot of challenges faces by the government but with all these challenges government completed all its project , adding that only a democratic government can capable to tackle the challenges.
PM Abbasi expressed hope that the incoming democratic governments would resolve the issues of people.
He said that the government established a number of power projects to address the power crisis, and was implementing tax reforms in the country.
Giving credit to the Finance Minister Miftah Ismail the PM said that government business friendly policy has given confidence to the investors in the country.
