Karimi meets China special envoy for Afghanistan

KABUL (Ariana News): Bilal Karimi, Ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to China, met with Yuxiao Yong, the Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China for Afghanistan.

During the meeting, discussions focused on further developing political relations between China and Afghanistan, strengthening good relations, and enhancing economic connectivity through mutual interaction with neighboring and regional countries.

Topics such as trade, transit, consular matters, and other bilateral issues were also addressed.

Both sides positively evaluated the current political and economic relations between China and Afghanistan and emphasized the need for continued efforts in this regard.

Karimi was officially recognized as Afghanistan’s ambassador to China in December last year when he presented his credentials to China’s Foreign Ministry’s director-general of the protocol department, Hong Lei.
