MUMBAI: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s last release Luka Chuppi has begun its journey at the box-office on an extremely positive note. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and directed by Laxman Utekar, the film made ₹8.01 crore on its first day and became the highest opener for both the lead actors.

Thanks to a partial holiday, the film was also able to surpass the Monday litmus test by collecting Rs. 7.50 crore. The total collections of the film currently stand at Rs. 38 crore. While the film can cross the Rs. 50 crore mark by the end of the week, the next three days will play a crucial part in that.

On the work front, Kriti has an exciting line-up of films ahead including Arjun Patiala, Housefull 4 and Panipat. Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Pati Patni Aur Woh with Ananya Pandey and Bhumi Pednekar.
