Kashmala Tariq takes oath as federal ombudsperson

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain administered the oath of office to Ms. Kashmala Tariq as Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace in a ceremony held at the Awian-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Tuesday.

Later, Ms. Kashmala Tariq also called on President Mamnoon Hussain. The President congratulated her on assuming the office as Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace and hoped that she will discharge the responsibilities in an efficient manner. Ms. Kashmala Tariq thanked the President for her appointment. Senior Government officials and eminent citizens from different walks of life also attended the oath-taking ceremony.
