Islamabad The appointment of Kashmala Tariq as Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment at Workplace was challenged in Islamabad High Court (IHC), Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzaib would hear the case today (Friday).
Petitioner Qaiser Abbas through his counsel Abid Farooq Awan filed a writ in which pleaded that for the said post, the High court Judge Procedure should adopted, and ombudsperson prerequisites are LLB degree and 10 years practicing as lawyer.
It mentioned in submitted petition that Kashmala Tariq has no experience in this field.
Petitioner prayed to nullified the appointment of Ombudsperson, federation, Ministry of Law and Ombudsperson were made party in this case.
