Kashmir Solidarity Day for suppressed masses: Farooq

MIRPUR (AJK): Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan Sunday said that Kashmir Solidarity day was not only for oppressed people of the occupied Jammu and Kashmir but for the suppressed masses of the world.
This day was observed to express solidarity with them, he added. In a statement issued here, the AJK Prime Minister thanked the people of Pakistan for the reiteration
of their commitment of solidarity and their unflinching moral, diplomatic and political support for Kashmir cause. Prime Minister reiterated that the people of Pakistan observing this day for the legitimate right of the people of the occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the right of self-determination, where Indian military and para military forces had occupied the territory and they were present there to deprive them.
Farooq Haider said that people of Pakistan for the last 70 years supported the right self-determination for Kashmiris’ as per promised by the founder of Pakistan, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
“On July 19, 1947, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference passed a resolution in which they had decided that their future would be associated with Pakistan and they would use their right through opinion poll under democratic process.” Prime Minister maintained.
He added that despite of passing seventy years, India has been obstructing the Kashmiris from their right in presence of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
“Kashmiris have been deprived of their basic rights and India through its secret intelligence agencies have made such laws by puppet government in occupied Kashmir that people either killed or tortured brutally if they dare to raise their voice for freedom” Prime Minister added. He said that the Indian armed forces, police, BSF, and others are doing state terrorism within Jammu and Kashmir, “Kashmiris are being killed, their eyes are being blinded by the use of pellet guns, while thousands of innocent people have been kidnapped and killed” PM AJK lamented. “Even there are many anonymous graves and their heirs don’t know whether their beloved ones are alive or martyred,” he added.
The Prime Minister said that India wanted to maintain her oppression there.
Farooq Haider paid tributes to the brethren in occupied Kashmir and reiterated that 200 million Pakistani besides 60 lacs Kashmiri in addition of 20 lacs people of Gilgit Baltistan are with them in their just and principled struggle for libration of the motherland from long Indian subjugation, “InshAllah, occupied Kashmir will get liberation soon” PM AJK hoped.
