Kashmiris protest against Indian atrocities

LONDON: Kashmiris staged a demonstration outside the Parliament Square on Wednesday to register protest against the occupied Indian forces brutalities in Indian held Kashmir.

The Kashmiris start protest when the Indian Prime Minister Narendar Modi’s arrived in London to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2018.

The protestors condemned the Indian terrorism under the umbrella of state in occupied Kashmir. The protestors also demanded justice for the minor identified as Asifa Bano, who was raped and later murdered by Hindu extremist in occupied Kashmir.

People from different age brackets participated in street activism, by sloganeering and chanting demands of Kashmir’s freedom from Indian occupation.

The actual leadership of Kashmir including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Aasiya Andrabi and Zamruda Habib also joined the campaign by video link from Srinagar.

A roadside roundtable was also organized to highlight Indian brutalities in IOK and different aspects of the Kashmir dispute were discussed.
