Katrina Kaif to replace Priyanka Chopra in PT Usha biopic

Monitoring Desk

MUMBAI: Off late, it seems like Priyanka Chopra’s losses are turning out to be Katrina Kaif’s gains. Katrina secured the lead role in Salman Khan’s Bharat after Priyanka Chopra decided to walk away from the project. And now, if a report in a leading daily is to be believed, Katrina is in talks to star in the PT Usha biopic which was reportedly earlier offered to Priyanka Chopra.

The report claims that Priyanka was approached by the makers but could not commit to the project due to other professional commitments. Revathy S Varma, who had also directed several successful Tamil and Malayalam movies, and is set to direct the PT Usha biopic, flew in to meet Katrina to talk over details about the film.

Meanwhile, fans of Katrina Kaif have a lot to look forward to as the actress has few special films in her kitty. She will next be seen in Salman Khan’s Bharat which will be releasing on June 5 2019. The pair has already given many successful hits over the years and we expect the trend to continue with this one. She also has signed Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi in which she will romance Akshay Kumar. This is another pair that is loved by the audience to a great extent.
