Khawaja Asif to visit China on Friday

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, will visit to China on Friday after the end of Envoys Conference which will be concluded today at foreign affair ministry.

Khawaja Asif has been invited by his Chinese counterpart Wang Li, to discuss the matters of mutual understanding between the two friendly countries and its importance became more in the current scenario.

Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the visit is very important and Pakistani Foreign Minister will meet Chinese counterpart Wang Li and other leaders to develop consensus on different issues.

Pakistan had decided that the foreign minister’s visit to Washington would be postponed and instead visits would be undertaken to China, Russia, Iran and Turkey to present its case to get regional support.
