Khursheed Shah to give new name for Chairman NAB to govt

ISLAMABAD:  Opposition Leader in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the current Chairman of National Accountability Bureaue (NAB) is controversial from day one and he assured to give a new name for the important post to the government.

Shah said this on Thursday and adding that he also contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and consultation are underway to bring new name for chairman NAB.

Shah added that a meeting with PM Abbasi was also held on this issue and he discussed the appointment of Chairman NAB with him.

The new name for the Chairman NAB post should be cleaned from politics and no one has objection on him, Shah added.
