LAHORE (NNI): Three passenger-carrying bogies of the Khyber Mail derailed early Saturday near Kala Shah Kaku.
Pakistan Railways’ officials said the train, heading towards Lahore from Peshawar, was carrying around 890 passengers.
None of the passengers are said to have been injured in the accident.
After the incident, Railways Deputy Superintendent Sufyan Dogar said rescue officials have been dispatched and the train will be back on track soon.
At present, rescue officials are working on site and officials said the Khyber Mail will soon be on the way to its destination.
